What:

OSHA continues to aggressively conduct inspections in Florida targeting construction, manufacturing, warehousing, and other high-hazard industries. Join us for a timely OSHA update on OSHA’s regulatory strategies, including a review of the new walkaround rule and the proposed heat standard.  We will also discuss OSHA’s strategies in conducting inspections and how employers can best prepare to avoid or minimize any citation items.

 

Dee Anna Hays is a shareholder in the Tampa office of Ogletree Deakins. She is a board certified OSHA and employment lawyer who has handled hundreds of OSHA inspections in Florida and elsewhere. She is passionate about providing legal advice and counseling to management in difficult workplace situations and has the honor of being a trusted advisor to many long-term clients. Dee Anna is Board Certified by the Florida Bar and is a nationally recognized speaker and author on labor and employment law issues.

 

Lauren Lenhart is an associate in the Tampa office of Ogletree Deakins.  Her practice is exclusively limited to OSHA matters and she has handed scores of OSHA on-site inspections and investigations. She litigates OSHA cases, represents employers during government inspections and investigations, and guides employers in navigating workplaces fatalities and injuries. Lauren represents employers in various industries, including construction, healthcare, retail, and manufacturing.
