Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid position based in Wesley Chapel, FL, for an OSHA Instructor at the USF OSHA Training Institute. The OSHA Instructor will deliver both in-person and virtual OSHA training courses, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards in the Atlanta Region (formerly known as Region 4). Some travel may be required throughout the region.

Qualifications

  • OSHA Authorized Trainer Certification (500 Construction, 501 General Industry, or 5400 Maritime)
  • Experience in conducting OSHA training and knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both in person and online
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Availability to work at least two times a month
  • Flexible schedule and availability for part-time roles (Courses are 3-5 days)
  • 5 or more years of experience in at least one industry (Construction, General, or Maritime)
  • CSP or CIH (Highly preferred)
  • Bilingual instructors are a Plus
